Description
Join Matt Berger for an in-person field trip to explore plant diversity in the Mojave Desert at the edge of the eastern southern Sierra Nevada.
- Meet a mind-blowing parasitic Borage, sand adapted plants and, hopefully, bountiful annuals in the decomposed granite areas!
- The location is easily accessed from HWY 395 in the town of Bradys near Ridgecrest, CA with just two miles on maintained unpaved roads. The terrain is composed of sandy slopes and decomposed granite, with a small sand dune area.
