This is a nice and helpful resource for identifying and learning about the California trees. I especially like the “ID tips” that really help with identifying specific trees. A further help are the range maps for each kind of trees. The photos are of high quality and detail. And last but not least the index with the mix of Latin and English names makes navigation through the pages very easy. Thanks to the authors and the publisher for putting this book together.
