Forrest Hopson
His career as an experienced geologist involves research on the effects of volcanic activity on water resources in the Mammoth Lakes area and tectonic block rotations in southeast California. The results of his work have been presented at professional geologic conferences and published in geologic journals. He has a B.A. in Earth Science from California State University, Northridge (1984) and an M.S. in Geology from California State University, Los Angeles (1996). He is a member of the Geological Society of America and the Geological Society of Nevada. He does consulting work for mining and mineral exploration companies.
