For the past five years we’ve been working diligently on a new book. A book that will tell the first comprehensive story of the little-known yet incredibly fascinating region we hold dear: The Klamath Mountains.

We have assembled a stellar team to bring this story to life with several handfuls of co-authors contributing expertise from their respective fields.

Starting with the First People of the region, this book weaves together never-before told stories of how geology, climate, fire, and water provide the basis for the biological abundance of all living things across northwest California and southwest Oregon.

“The Klamath Mountains: A Natural History” will be in print for Summer 2021, but in the meantime we thought you’d like to hear directly from a selection of our authors during the long pandemic winter lurking just around the bend.

They’ll be sharing presentations to enrich your understanding of the region and get you dreaming of another round of summer adventures!

This 10-part webinar series will kick off in January with weekly Thursday evening sessions beamed straight to your cozy living room. Stay tuned for details coming later this week!
