Fish Lake and Blue Lake, tucked into the Bluff Creek drainage, offers a taste of the incredible botanical diversity that characterizes the Klamath Mountain region. It’s one of the best places in the county to see the beautiful, regional endemic Port Orford-cedar – and, unfortunately, the effects of the fungal infection that’s decimating it. The route also passes three mountain lakes and offers a nice view of the Klamath River valley. It’s quite unlike any other hike in Humboldt County and great to visit in the fall too.
