    This book is an amazing and comprehensive compendium of knowledge that is an essential resource for anyone interested in the wonderful vernal pool ecosystems of California. It is also an amazingly good deal, including for the print copy. I would recommend purchasing the latter due to the scope and scale of the book itself.
