  1. Rated 5 out of 5

When I found the first edition, I loved it and all the fun details. Great natural history. I got interested in Pacific conifers and as I hiked 3000 miles on the PCT, got to be an expert on ID-ing the many iterations of each species. I’m delighted by the second edition and really like Michael’s style and content. Nice work! Highly recommended.
